Membership Categories, Fees and Privileges

NACEP is a professional membership organization serving a wide-range of post-secondary institutions, school districts and high schools, state agencies, and other partner organizations. While many post-secondary institutional members pursue NACEP accreditation for their concurrent enrollment partnerships; many institutions that do not chose to pursue accreditation have representatives who are active in collegial dialogue, professional development, and as committee volunteers.

Categories of Membership:

Post-Secondary Institutions: Any public or private postsecondary institution.

Partner: Any secondary institution, government/state agency or professional organization that supports the mission of NACEP and concurrent enrollment.

Individual: Any individual not affiliated with a post-secondary institution who supports the mission of NACEP and concurrent enrollment.

Emeritus: Upon outstanding professional service and/or retirement, a person who has been an active member of the Alliance for five (5) consecutive years may be recommended and/or request Emeritus membership status.

All categories of members must submit a membership application and pay annual fees to remain in good standing.

Rights and Privileges of Membership:

  • Right to vote (designated representative of an accredited post-secondary institution)
  • Right to hold office or serve as committee chairs (representatives of an accredited post-secondary institution)
  • Right to attend NACEP-sponsored activities (all categories of members)
  • Eligible for NACEP-sponsored recognition/awards (all categories of members)
  • Right to reduced conference fees for NACEP-sponsored activities (all categories of members)
  • Access to password-protected sections of the NACEP web site (all members in good standing)
  • Right to use NACEP name and logo (accredited post-secondary institutions)
  • Right to a membership certificate (all categories of members)
  • Right to participate on committees (all categories of members)

Membership Fees (Membership year: January 1 – December 31):

Post-Secondary $450
Partner $125
Individual $50
Emeritus $0

Accredited institutions also pay an annual accreditation fee of $100
