Volunteer with NACEP
As the national association for professionals involved in concurrent enrollment partnerships, NACEP was founded to provide a national forum for members to engage in professional development and collegial support. NACEP provides members with numerous opportunities to collaborate with peers from institutions around the country. Actively participating with committee initiatives is one of the best ways for members to develop collaborative peer relationships and learn best practices. NACEP’s Standing Committees include:
- Research Committee: strengthens concurrent enrollment programs by conducting, supporting and sharing research about such programs.
- Membership Committee: administers the NACEP membership process, recruits new members, maintains records, and provides certificates of membership.
- Accreditation Committee: responsible for peer review of a post-secondary institution’s application for NACEP accreditation. The Committee makes a recommendation to the NACEP Board of Directors of approval or denial of the application
- Communications Committee: responsible for external and internal communications, including maintaining the public website, producing regular newsletters, designing brochures and other documents, and writing and distributing press releases
- Governmental Relations Committee: responsible for facilitating, coordinating and maintaining NACEP interaction with federal and state governments and departments of education.
- Ad Hoc Secondary School Partners Committee: facilitates information exchange, professional development, and sharing best practices among secondary educators nationwide.
- Ad Hoc Program Development Committee: supports programs in implementing NACEP standards prior to applying for accreditation; develops new NACEP products and services.
