Announcements
NACEP website gets a makeover! The new website has more resources including summaries of federal policies and legislation affecting concurrent enrollment, key developments in state policies, links articles about NACEP and NACEP members, information about volunteering, and the newly-adopted 2011 Standards. Visit http://nacep.org/ to take a tour. Help us maintain the resources on the website by sending updates about your program to Adam Lowe at alowe@nacep.org, particularly news articles, research and data, presentations you make, and state policy developments. Membership categories change At the business meeting during the Fall 2009 Annual Conference in Memphis, TN, changes to the by-laws regarding membership were passed. The changes are intended to ensure that NACEP remains an inclusive organization with the participation of a wide range of institutions – regardless of whether they are pursuing accreditation. Previously, the membership categories were related to accreditation status (e.g., Provisional and Accredited Members); membership and accreditation status are now separate. Review the new categories on the NACEP website at Fees and Categories. NACEP Day on the Hill Join your colleagues on Monday, March 8th to raise awareness of the benefits of concurrent enrollment partnerships to federal legislators and policy-makers. Contact Adam Lowe at alowe@nacep.org for more details. |
