NACEP Names Dianne Lassai Barker Director of State Engagement

Dianne Lassai Barker is well known to many of you for her work on the NACEP State Policy Leadership Committee, our State Policy Workshops, and her role as the State Agency member of the NACEP Board of Directors. In addition to her experience as a volunteer leader for our organization, Dianne brings a wealth of experience to this new position. Engaged in the field of higher education for nearly 20 years, she's worked diligently to promote seamless education for all students. As Director of Secondary Education Initiatives and Dual Enrollment for Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) for the past 8 years, she provided leadership and guidance to over 100 Dual Enrollment program staff at Georgia’s 22 Technical Colleges. Her work to consolidate existing state dual enrollment policies into one streamlined approach with increased state financial support and investment drove unprecedented growth and increased access to dual enrollment for Georgia students.

As Director of State Engagement Dianne will champion our work engaging states through relationship building, fostering concurrent and dual enrollment policy conversations, leading our work with NACEP State and Regional Chapters, as well as supporting the Engagement Commission’s work with the NACEP Leadership Academy.

Dianne officially joins the NACEP on June 1st, 2021.
