Limited access to concurrent enrollment (CE) courses has historically prevented Utah rural high school students from earning college credits at the same rate as their non-rural peers. Factors such as remote geographic locations far from college campuses, rural schools’ lack of access to qualified teachers, and COVID contributed to this problem. Snow College delivers CE courses using live interactive video conferencing technology to address this disparity. This session will outline this innovative program and discuss how your program can provide students access to CE courses in any location.
