A state's dual enrollment funding approach can either significantly drive or significantly inhibit equitable program access and participation. In this webinar, Jennifer Zinth, lead author of Funding for Equity, will provide an introduction to the prevalent state dual enrollment funding models and highlight trends in revisions to state dual enrollment funding strategies since 2019, when the original Funding for Equity report was released. Tim Stetter from the state of Washington, which revised its College in the High School funding mechanism in 2023, will share his insights on the state's policy development and adoption process, the impact of these changes, and what other states can learn from Washington's experience.
