Research Commission
The Commissions serve an important role in the organization by supporting NACEP’s work by engaging expertise from the field for these volunteer leadership positions.
The Research Commission’s main function is to:
- Conducting, supporting, and sharing research on concurrent and dual enrollment
- Providing tools and guidance for programs in conducting program evaluations
- Curating resources (research, publications, summaries) on dual and concurrent enrollment research, policy, trends and best practices
Research Commission Activities:
- Resource Center – Support NACEP staff in curating a resource library with 125+ expert insights in dual enrollment
- Research Spotlights – Plain language summaries of peer-reviewed research shared in the monthly NACEP Oracle newsletter
- Research Roundup Webinars (Yee-haw!) – Commission members unpack and discuss recently published academic papers featured in the Research Spotlights
- Research Rendezvous – Practitioner-researcher and graduate student community of practice to informally discuss research, challenges, and share helpful tools and tips
- Research Development Grants – Awarded annually to spur research in the field of dual and concurrent enrollment
