ECS: 50 State Comparison: Dual/Concurrent Enrollment Policies

As part of our ongoing support to programs, practitioners, and policy, we want to share a new resource released that allows users to compare dual enrollment policies across states. The Education Commission of the States (ECS) has released a 2022 update to their  50 State Comparison: Dual/Concurrent Enrollment Policies. This resource includes policies found in statutes, regulations, and other state policy documents and guidelines. Somewhat limited in scope, for example, the site does reflect the various program titles but not the program model definitions.

This ECS guide includes Dual Enrollment Data Points for All States, Program Basics, Access, Courses, Finance, Quality, and Key Takeaways. This is a key resource for anyone looking into individual states’ regulatory practices.
